Game of Gnomes

I happened to capture this Tweet a few weeks back … and I’m not even online 24x7, not even an honest day’s worth of 8 hrs [I have a REAL life full time job] ….

I have found that the latest feature that has crept up and captured my attention, for whatever that is worth [these days=nothing] Twitter has started to encapsulate conversations and link the same twitter train (essentially, what it is doing, organizing profiles under the umbrella of a, let’s call it a “Master Tweet”. If you are lucky to be included with a large number of influencers, who acknowledge by a like [heart] or a reTweet [ #RT ] can cast a much larger web.

Lamb by Catherine Darling

If you are a Bleater (a lamb’s annoying noise or cry) with content that lack substance are Bleater online …. a newly created word by me to describe online behavior that repeatedly shares lovely images of flowers, sunsets, beautiful vistas. A Bleater is a noun, as in a person.

Twitter is likely creating secret analytics and algorithm symphony to create the proverbial carrot scattered about among rabbits [ for the purpose of this story and theme, let’s say that the big BRANDS are rabbits ]. But for a uniqueness score and continued theme, brands will be called Grabbits. Grabbits could be Coca Cola, Tesla, or Trump Towers.

Grabbits are slowly developing a very large appetite for carrots. The carrots that rabbits cherish, evolved to the online, social media, world we still get a spellcheck or (insert name: Grammarly - who I use) whenever you type “influencer” or “influencers”. We can’t grammatically call them anything that sounds like SIRs because of the many GALs that share the same space.  Yes, those cute, adorable, engines working to separate you from your money.

For ease of speech and spelling, the influencers are dubbed “The Doers”. These are the people that can make or break your opinion, the popular opinion of those online {amassing and growing by leaps and bounds). The “Masses” are the obvious ‘other’ people circulating and clicking.

The Doers have developed a positive brand, reputation with a steadfast, loyal following. With authenticity continually under question online, I see how Twitter is grasping, seeing the need that Facebook has accidentally stumbled upon (Stumpleupon is still out there, FYI) how a tribe does impact your vibe. The Doers are critical of themselves mostly yet avoid detractors, sociapaths, egomaniacs, etc. [if only to share sometimes as an interest not a direction nor an opinion].

Twitter is developing the ability to keep The Doers in the same circles, refining their recommendations for whom others should follow. Wouldn’t that be cool if you ended up on that few box list? They probably can cleverly guess who is more likely to have someone click on The Doer profile based on the demographic, clicks, followers of their followers.

I’d like to call the followers “A Flower”. A flower needs nourishment in order to grow into a great thing of beauty. So all my followers are now Flowers: I hope to be able to sprinkle a little sunshine on.

To understand this, do this simple exercise: find one of your favorite quotes, settle on your favorite art and send it out to 10 people whom you enjoy reading their Tweets, would like to go beyond a connection to an ENGAGEMENT and include them in the tweet.

This will land directly in their notifications category — MUCH MORE gratifying and appealing to see the numbers grow in NOTIFICATIONS on Twitter than the Private Messages {cluttered with Spam). SPAM is the negative description for annoying interruptions to your otherwise joyful cruise online. Seemingly, screaming at you, guaranteed to be annoying to you. A SPAM is a person, a post, a tweet that is self-serving only to themselves. Self-advertising as is often disposed by the Grabbits.

Viral highjinx is the new order of the day: let’s see if we can trick people to think this is a heartwarming moment that Flowers may grow, grabbed by SPAM paid for by Grabbits.

A simple thing

I came across these words on a Facebook share :: .... WOW!  L-u-c-k-y MOI!  I have to confess, I took a huge liberty here.  You see, I did ask the poster whether they were his words and, if so, did I have his permission to use them?  But as usual with a percolating mind, I know if I don't exude the idea or at, the very least, write it all down.

That's the beauty of having a blog, really.  You write about what you want to, about things that matter to you, you may even invent a thing or two.  The secret may be, to dig deep, deep down.  Just like the heroic miners in the absolute 5*START #bestofeverything for must see #movie ::.... brilliant landscape, scenery and set portraying a mine cavern.  Disjointed jointed point there BTW meaning you have to dig down very deep to find strength to go on and try to sort out your true purpose in life.  Like the miners had to survive.  Where you have to dig down deep to not just merely survive, but move to where your star should be.  In the universe or twinkling above home.

Love this!! GREAT music, inspiring quotes or words (this is my Friday night, BTW) ::....... when creativity explodes as you escape the daily grind of "the job".  Oh, excusssse moi ~ career climb for others.

No finer purpose
than none.   My purpose has had free reign these days.  I can't decide if I'm going to be a grumpy old fartess or a steady fashionista fighting her 50s (with another 5 years to go ..... in that age bracket, I hope, is all).  With encouragement, or self-belief, just continue to blog and reach the pinnacle of my dream ::... which would be (drum roll) ....:: a professional blogger.  (Stop with those giggles and snorts).

A simple thing
can help us grow.
A something that we should appreciate.
Allow us to glow.
Fall to the wayside
away they go.

Where have you gone?
All those friends
we knew long ago
or was it yesterday?
My, how the years flow.

I'm getting tired
of "what might have been."
Yesteryears with spent tears
I need a new idea to burst forth
with brute force
to set the ceiling as the sky

need a new place to go
really just tired of no go.
No go anywhere
fast or slow.
Except to work I hate
in a group with distaste.
At a place that doesn't care,
no, doesn't care whatsoever
about their local employees.
Ready to offshore
more and more of our jobs
Just to keep a profit
bigger bonus for execs.
Then, there's Mauritius to see across the sea.

So why don't we go?

When you hit an age or a moment
when you wonder if you'll let go
Say to heck with it all and go seek life
Wouldn't that be surprising?
Would it cause an uprising?
Only they'll know .... i guess.

This could be the end
of my sanity or that
brilliant glow.
That seemed to follow you
for so many years
then you feel they've stopped
before you realize it was you
who has slowed down

of everything ....
i regret ... i can barely think of a few.
Not bad when you reckon how the years grew.
Landing me smack dab in the top of the hill
or on a steady downward climb.

so why don't we go
somewhere you're craving or
go to see someone we both know.
That we know
only we know
about them.

somewhere we know
to be discovered if
we simple go
and do
what we want to

only we know
when that'll be
today after something or
tomorrow after that
we'll float away to
fade away
from those that barely
we know.

....:: entertaining while visually stimulating while you are lulled by the words and musical backdrop to Keane's hauntingly beautiful voice ::....

Where have you gone?
I'm getting tired
need a new place to go
So why don't we go?
This could be the end
of everything ....
what we know
so why don't we go
somewhere we know
where only we know

I took a number of liberties with Keane and hope he doesn't mind.  Just writing this makes me realize that Keane could just be the name of the band, and not any one person.

How embarrassing if that is the case.  Yet the intent was to just let go.  Write whatever I want to write.  The real purpose was to recommend two movies, actually:  Concussion and 33.  Regardless of your age ::... inBETWEENER ...:: or Millennial ::... will recognize Keane as a simple thing ... really good stuff and #bestofeverything in music right now (see date on blog).

Thanks for the shares on facebook, #RT on Twitter, PLUS thumbs up on Google Plus+ et al.  Thanks +Philippe TREBAUL @socialfave for your great support.  It has greatly impacted the increase of followers, and I know your tool really made a difference.  Everyone::... go check em out!!

The #MENTALENERGETICS 1) There's the tamest wild thing is happening on here ....

http://meanderingsabout.blogspot.ca/

The Fort McMurry wild fires #1

My blog meanderingsabout are really sky rocketing up there.   I believe it was possible, and sensed I have the creative juices that flow through an energetic mind.  I haven't necessarily thought it could be me, but I imagined the coolest thing would be if the BIGGEST rock star GREATEST icon SMARTEST person globally EVER were to emerge?

Maybe it was from KARMA when I was driving home from a medical appointment I became jolted and glued to what was happening in northern Alberta.

People and friends wanted to understand where you were situated in relationship to the fire.  The media and social media sights started to burn up for the cause (excuse any tastelessness but accept as a form of expression) of Fort McMurry.

You see, there was a story behind the story.  The cast had players that were HUGE.  What was the name of this live action thriller, controversial, not yet a movie fame?

Oil.  Period.
I imagine that the world has been lambblasted  watching all the drama cropping up everywhere, touching everything, whatever we read or whatever we watch, there is this massive debate going on.  Which is better:  oil or the environment?

Oil has been dancing around issues that until recently have been hidden in backrooms.  Amassing millions then billions for (per Ernie Sanders) are the top 1%of the top 10% of all the wealth in the world.

They aren't always citizens, there are countries involved.  Think of all the distractions with a little blip on our radar called the "Gulf War".  Can you imagine the US United States of America was trying to protect its interest in foreign oil because their population rate was going so fast, they were worried that this big blog of consumers was going to far outweigh even food?

Unbeknownst to a greater part of the world's population and a fraction of the newscasters x viewers, there was this little province in the popular country of Canada.  Think:  the Beverly Hill Billies in Armani and Porsche instead (wink).  This cast of cleverly smart people recognized that this black gold was going to turn them and whomever they compete with into a big big engine for the world.  Causing wars, unrest, funding radicals, greed.

In a really really small city in the far north of that blip on the radar called Fort McMurry.

One can imagine when the first old gold rush, how it happened?  I fella pans for a tooth that fell out after eating the bones off a bear, and his eyes catch on the glimmer of gold starting to appear.

How did that one guy, or was it a group of small guys, who decided to play hooky from the dangerous coal mines decide to say "to heck with it all ... I'm done!"
That in itself is what triggered the greatest stampede towards greed.  Gold.

Fast forward 200 years at least, there is some experimentation and with certainty a discovery that could be larger than many of the countries in the middle east, combined, like Saudi Arabia, Qatar :: who were mildly amused by their bordering brethren, were engulfed in wars, violence, radicalism, greed, corruption.  Such naivete to think that they were immune.

The United States tries to act heavy in the region.  Getting involved merely as a distraction to gain control of the oil.   Like the kid who's parent teaches him the oldest trick:  "Which hand is it in?"  A trick so timeless but fascinating until you figure out what the heck is really going on :: that person is passing the ball betweens his hands at his back, ease of being always ahead.

It backfired.  Apologies to reference to fires.
This little area imploded into a small northerly city where big big OIL companies were slithering around to see "thWAT is this best way to find" then hire migrant works, spread far away from their families across the country, made it a community.

WATCH:  what made you science? by Robert Redford, next

Then an almost unlikely retired actor named Robert Redford did a video on YouTube, long before it has the massive appeal it has today.  YouTube who could make instant stars out of the virtual sky.

Sir RedfordNOT was expelling the evil virtues of the oil that was called back and forth:  tar sands or oil sands.  He may have caught wind of the small controversy around this soon-to-be-city.  The indigenous crowd was speaking out loud, and getting louder, and then very quite noisy.  Their plight of losing heritage impacting cultural pursuits like hunting would disappear.

In my fact finding mission, I will find out who is REALLY running the coup because it's not the employers, politicians, faith, fame we have long adopted to guide us.

Who are the greatest #INFLUENCES of our day?  See, this is simply an outlet to create a strong voice.  Those that climb up the #bestofeverything charts may become celebrities that all the other group belonged under :: actors, writers, bloggers, artists, musicians, directors, producers, media, television, radio, movies.

Whew, A three day weekend has sure been a treat.  You'd think I'd wanna just lay around ... mostly right but only in the mornings.

I despise those people who can fall asleep so fast then immediately jump out of the bed so early, do you to?

With self-prognosis and a new Club I've introduced :: the Mental Energetics.  That is going to be the people who boost me out to the top.  The Mental Energetics attract information faster than any algorithms and dense with in with class, charisma, charm, cuteness and caring :: so genuine to who they are, they seem quite rocklike solidity one minute and exuberant by voice (oral, written, video'd, +Geoff De Weaver tweeted liked, clicked on

Once again, I drift on to another tangent that may have more insight than the rest of so many blogs.  You see, there is one incredible, massive, borderless, bulliness-free, motivational, victimless or crook free, that attract those traits in others:  not boastful merely gregarious, not mathematically, scientifically, or technically savvy.

This is simply crazy.  People are writing pledges to being good dog-owner/adoptors like this!!!  As if we were all to write a Dog Pledge, we can return to humanity and be humane again.  If we can set aside our differences by just writing a New Dog pledge.  In this pledge you will admit what needs to be worked on and what is well on its way beyond progression.

I will look for more pledges and continue to post them here too.
